Minor Updates

Every once in a while I need to make sure I can still post to this blog. What prompted this post attempt was the desire to get “verified” on Mastodon. This turns out to be just adding a link to the page you have in your Mastodon profile, but since that page was this blog, and not simply https://blacka.com (which is a very plain ancient style website), I had to figure out how to do that.

However, now this is done. I suspect that this will make my zeros of Mastodon posts marginally more credible!

In the process, I updated Hugo and updated the theme to a more capable theme that matched my desired aesthetic. This theme ends up being LoveIt. It took a minor amount of fiddling with it to get it to do basically what I wanted, but overall I’d describe that as “easy”.
